From fragmented school improvement efforts to a cohesive system-wide culture of continuous improvement using Clevr’s Strategic Planning solution.

The Upper Grand District School Board (UGDSB), a geographically vast and diverse district in Ontario, faced a critical challenge familiar to many educational systems: how to drive meaningful, consistent improvement across dozens of schools, each with unique needs. While school teams were engaged in important work, their plans often lived in isolation, with limited visibility or connection to the district’s broader multi-year strategic plan.

Recognizing the need for a profound shift, UGDSB’s leadership envisioned a new way forward. They developed the “Let’s Go” methodology, a framework designed to move the district from isolated initiatives to a focused, system-wide strategy. To bring this ambitious vision to life, they needed more than a plan; they needed a dynamic, flexible, and powerful tool. They found their solution in Clevr.

Clevr provided UGDSB with a platform to unify strategic planning and school improvement processes under one digital roof. Leveraging its form-based structure and flexible design, the district deployed its “Let’s Go” framework across all 76 schools and business departments, embedding it into daily operations.

Every school and department now works toward a shared set of pre-populated system priorities, customized within Clevr to reflect local context. The form became a living document — dynamic, iterative, and measurable.
